Always test the chosen design on a scrap of fabric using the same interfacing, stabiliser, threads and needle - you never know what can go wrong until it does!

Use the test piece to finalise the position of the design on the garment section and file it away for future reference.

If you are stitching a design on a bought garment test it on a scrap of some similar fabric.
